The following regulations apply to riding e-bikes at e4 TESTIVAL:
- What we often refer to as “e-bikes” are actually known as “pedelecs.” Legally, they are treated the same as bicycles, which is why there is no official minimum age for riding pedelecs.
- However, children or teenagers must be the right size for the e-bike in question and be able to ride a bike.
- The test ride must take place under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
As a general rule, our exhibitors decide who is eligible to ride.
No. Anyone who has accepted the terms and conditions of participation may ride along. This is done as part of the online ticket purchase process. For minors, this must be done by a parent or legal guardian. The German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) apply on the test track. Therefore, any child restraint systems (child seats) required under the StVO must be brought along by the participant if necessary.
