In the event of an effective withdrawal, the organizer will refund the ticket price already paid by the consumer without undue delay, but no later than within 14 days. For the consumer, the period begins when the withdrawal form is sent or the withdrawal declaration is otherwise submitted; for the organizer, when it is received. The organizer is free to choose the means of refunding the ticket price already paid. A processing fee will be charged to the consumer for the refund.

9. Force majeure, event cancellation

If the organizer is compelled as a result of force majeure or for other reasons beyond its control to temporarily or for a longer period clear one or more exhibition areas, or to postpone or shorten the event, the visitor shall have no rights of withdrawal, termination or reduction, nor any claims whatsoever, in particular claims for damages against the organizer. The same applies if the visitor is unable to attend the event as a result of force majeure or for other reasons beyond the organizer’s control.

If the organizer cancels the event because it cannot hold the event due to force majeure or other circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, or because holding the event has become unreasonable for the organizer, the organizer shall not be liable for any damage and disadvantages incurred by the customer as a result of the cancellation of the event.

  • The visitor agrees that photos, film recordings and interviews of the participant made in connection with the event may be published, reproduced and edited by the organizer for advertising and documentation purposes without any claim to remuneration, in particular on social media, the internet, print media and the press. This consent is irrevocable and valid indefinitely.
  • By providing their email address in connection with ticket booking, the visitor agrees that the organizer is entitled to send them current information in connection with the event as well as future events; this also includes the organizer’s newsletters. The participant may revoke consent to the sending of information and newsletters at any time.
  • Furthermore, the visitor agrees that during test drives, statistical data regarding users and the respective vehicle may be recorded digitally. This data is anonymized and used for statistical purposes.
  • The visitor also agrees that the personal data provided will be stored for the purpose of data processing and used exclusively for handling the test drives. Participant data will only be passed on to exhibitors upon individual request and the visitor’s express wish—for example, if the visitor requests information material from a specific exhibitor.
